Sometimes a bad layout is a hidden gem. This was one of those cases where a small forced 2 bedroom 2 bathroom was not selling because something just didn't feel right. When we viewed this unit, we knew we had to do something about it. The city view was captivating but the living space was so cramped that you could hardly fit a sofa. We took out the second bedroom, replaced the flooring, and added a much more spacious kitchen. Four months later, a new owner purchased the unit and valued it more than other 2 bedrooms in the building!
Something was not right with this 764 square foot 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit in Mount Pleasant. Situated to capture breathtaking views of the city, it was difficult to enjoy while feeling cramped in a tight space. We wanted to make it more open and spacious to make the best use of the view.
